The post-election public testing of the tabulating equipment used for the November 4 General Election is scheduled at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 17 in the County Clerk’s Office in the Harvey County Courthouse.

Notice of General Election Audit
The selection of races and precincts to be audited for the November 4, 2025 General Election will be conducted on Thursday, November 6 at 10 a.m. in the County Clerk’s Office in the Harvey County Courthouse. The audit of the November 4, 2025 General Election will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Harvey County Courthouse in Newton, KS.
** Election Audit Update **
On Thursday, November 6 two local races were randomly selected and then 1 precinct was randomly selected for the respective race. The races and precincts selected were: Hesston City Mayor – Hesston 1W-1P precinct (#4) and USD 369 Board – Burrton City precinct (#1). On Friday, November 7 the audit board hand counted the selected ballots and their results matched the results from the tabulator.
