Shall the following be adopted?
Shall Unified School District No. 439, Harvey County, Kansas (Sedgwick), issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $13,800,000, to pay the costs to: (a) construct, equip and furnish a new Library/Media Center addition; (b) construct, equip and furnish a new Physical Education addition including gym, a safe room (storm shelter area) and other support areas; (c) construct, equip and furnish additional classrooms and offices with corridors to connect existing District buildings; (d) make renovations and other improvements to portions of the existing R.L. Wright Elementary, Sedgwick Junior/Senior High School structures including the Multipurpose Room; (e) construct and equip a new 8-lane polyurethane track at the District site; (f) make other improvements including improved lighting and security, grading, parking, and a new bus drive at the District site; (g) make all other necessary improvements appurtenant thereto (collectively the “Project”); and (h) pay costs of issuance and interest on the general obligation bonds of the District during the construction of the Project; all pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 10-101 et seq., K.S.A. 25‑2018(f), K.S.A. 72-5457, and K.S.A. 72-5458 et seq.?
